Who we are

Rivera Arte is an online gallery of original art. We sell the founder's own work and, under curated consignment, work by guest artists.

Purchases

All works are one-of-a-kind or original pieces as described in their listing. Prices are in U.S. dollars (USD).

Card payments are processed securely through Stripe; we never store your card details.

Because pieces are unique, a work may sell to someone else before your payment completes; in that unlikely case we refund you in full immediately.

Shipping

The price of the work does not include shipping unless stated otherwise. After your purchase we contact you to quote and arrange delivery to your city.

Every piece travels in specialized protective packaging. Typical U.S. delivery is 5–10 business days once shipping is arranged.

Returns

If your piece arrives damaged, let us know within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the damage and packaging; we will resolve it with repair, replacement when possible, or a refund.

Due to their personalized nature, commissions cannot be returned once the sketch is approved; that's why we share photo updates throughout the process.

Custom commissions

Commissions require a 50% deposit upon sketch approval and the remaining 50% when the piece is finished, before shipping.

The deposit covers materials and work begun, so it is non-refundable once painting has started.

Intellectual property

When you buy a work you acquire the physical piece. Reproduction rights to the image remain with the artist unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Consignment artists

Works by guest artists are sold on behalf of their authors under a consignment agreement; Rivera Arte acts as intermediary and retains a commission per sale.
